We are using the open standards listed below:

• PKCS#7 data format for the digital certificates
• X.509v3 format for certificates
• MIME for unsigned packages
• S/MIME for signed packages
• zLib library for compression
• XML for the repository definition file
• And of course Internet standards like HTTP for datatransport.
