If an Installer or download tool supports digital signatures, you can bet it only supports digital signing. But digital signing is only half of the job, you also need to check the digital signature.
LizaJet Installer also performs digital signature checking.

Digital certificates are the foundation for security in the Internet environment, and are used for digital signing. It is odd that a digital signature is seldom checked, it is only checked when you open a file directly from the Web browser. A digital signature is not checked when your end-user downloads a program to your hard drive first, and execute it later.
This is a pity, because digital signature checking not only gives some guarantee that files are really from the publisher itself, but also provides an additional level of the integrity checking of the downloaded files.
In the LizaJet download system all your files are checked for a digital signature, also when they are downloaded to the hard drive.
